Ok lovely people! Today was my 3rd run of W9 - i dont know if it was the thought of final C25K run but ive switched off the gremlins at least for todayπ. It was a very relaxed run and although i didnt do 5k within 30min, ive run few minutes longer and 'topped up' with a walk at the end to reach 6k total.
Ive never run in my life before this program, nor did i think that i could be a runner ever. W1R1 almost killed me and although the first few weeks were tough, i got the runners high on R2 and thought i will not let this go. I started this program to loose weight and get fitter begrudgingly accepting that to do that i need to start running, thinking that it would be great to last past week 2, but now running switched to the goal in itself!
This has been a surprise that i did not expect when i was going through the usual no way i can finish this today, what people will think seeing me run, cant run in the rain/cold, cant wake up early.
Actually, i could do it all and anyone reading this at the beginning of this journey - YOU CAN DO IT TOO, believe in this program and believe in yourself. My body was capable of much more that i gave it credit and so its yours!
And all You lovely people here have carried me through the weeks and I cant thank you enough!
Onto the next run now to start something new!!πββοΈ
