Hi everyone - I haven’t posted for a while as I’ve been stuck on week 7. It was a real block for me as the last time I did c25k I couldn’t seem to get past this week, so I had it as a block in my mind. Today I went out with the idea of doing yet another 25 min run, as I’d been telling myself this was limit, BUT (sorry for going on), I felt an extra spurt of energy and did the 28 mins!!! For the first time ever!!!

Well done. I know where you're coming from I got stuck at wk5 but it was all in my head. I'm now about to start wk 8 too. Keep going 😁🏃‍♂️

Oh that’s brilliant!!! Well done for completing it, that is such a big achievement!! It’s so hard to overcome those mental blocks but you did and you should feel so proud ☺️. Keep going, you got this! 🕺🏼🕺🏼

Ah, thanks love - I can’t believe I actually did it. So true that a lot of this journey is mental. Cheers for the words - I hope your running is going well? Xx

Well I am so glad that you did, no better feeling than feeling like you’ve achieved something!! ☺️. Yes, it’s actually going great thank you, I had a massive motivation crash and a few days off but with the help of all the lovely people on this site they gave me great advice and I absolutely loved my last run, I hope it’s stays this way when it gets harder!! Keep on smashing it 🤩🤩 xx

Great strength of character Oliverunner

Ah, so you understand my pain! I think I built the week 8 thing up into such a bogie man that it totally crippled me - just could t imagine running for 28 mins. Well done for starting again, that’s what I did and I was so cross with myself for letting it go - but it was much better the second time around. Good luck, I’m rooting for you x

Well done Oliverunner - I did W8R3 yesterday so you're just behind me. Suddenly 30 minutes doesn't seem out of reach - 2 minutes more can't be too difficult! Then we're done!
