PCOS?

Hi. I’ve downloaded this before and tried it but never stuck to it.

I’m 32, 5’1 and overweight. I have PCOS.

I know I need to get fitter but I’m scared I won’t stick to this.

Does anyone else have PCOS?

How do you stay motivated?

It will be hard to begin with, you will become energised, then you will find it hard agin, then you will feel invincible when you achieve your goal and complete the programme. Stick with it, going out in the rain when you don’t want to go out feels even better to on the other days.

Don’t compare yourself to anyone else, getting up and out there makes you awesome, well done!

And yes, this forum is your secret weapon, when you are finding tough and don’t want to get out there post online and someone will tell you to put your kit on and get it done!

I am 43 and was diagnosed at 17 with pcos. I've tried everything from pills to weight loss to ovarian drilling but nothing works. Hence why I've never been lucky enough to have children. Im starting my couch to 5k in the morning and im terrified but I'm determined that im going to try my best. If after this week running is not for me then I will try something new. I think its just about trying it out and seeing how it feels for you. Good luck xxx

They told me I had PCOS when I donated eggs at 32 🤷‍♀️ but I never knew- I had two children at that point. I'm 5ft and have just moved down from Obese class 3 to class 2 😒👍 I'm on Wk 5 and have lost 3Kgs. Just start and see how you do. I don't jog as such but have found my groove- look up Niko Niko pace running. 4kms this morning 🙌
