A difficult one today

Week 4 Run 1 is quite an increase and I did struggle so slowed right down.

Took a bit of a different route which included running along the river. Nice but few cars around. Several other runners all overtook me which was fine. But then a man and woman in a car hooted to attract my attention and I looked around and half stopped to see if I knew them but then they started making running gestures.

Maybe they were trying to encourage. Or laughing at me. But it put me off!!

I kept going to the end. But decided its back to side streets for me 😀

Brilliant achievement Blueskyabove, there is an increase, but you did it 💪 onwards and upwards 👍

They were probavly encouraging you. Maybe they thought you were at the end of a marathon, feeling a tad tired 😉 Snail on (says the snail herself)!

Hello at FreedomToRun well done for running and hope you are enjoying the journey.

I know exactly what you mean when people try to 'be part' of your run it can be distracting. It happens to all types of runners for all types of reasons! Generally people are in awe. Most important part is to keep running!!! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
