The hardest step was the first one out of the front door! Surprisingly it felt Ok. Got progressively slower for each run, but guess I have just got to learn how fast, or rather slow, I need to go in order to complete the run.

You’re so right, that *is* the hardest step and now it’s done! 🙌🏼👏🏼
IannodaTruffe’s link is full of stellar advice. One of the most important being to go slowly. Think about going slow and then go slower ☺️ It’s a great feeling to have energy in the tank towards the end of your run and you’ll soon be doing burst sprints across that finish line (I used to do athlete hands-up-in-the-air type finishes too) 😬😬
Best of luck and enjoy your journey 🌟
Well done Ali50n, the first step out through the front door is definitely the hardest....but you did it so you should feel proud of that 👏🏻👏🏻 and today you learnt your first important lesson and that is to pace yourself, so you’ve got enough in the tank to finish the run. You can always finish with a flourish if you have, and impress the neighbours as you whizz past their windows on the way back 👍😁
