First post Xmas run

Well I have to say I could feel all the Turkey and chocolate that I’ve eaten but I was determined to run today. Just finished week 7 and before I ran I made a deal with myself that I wouldn’t care about how quick I would run or how far I would go. Today was about running for 25 minutes.

That said, I still set Strava as I was running a different route today to mix things up a bit.

The first 1km was definitely the hardest (as all up hill) but felt I got into the run after that and I felt my normal pace returned. Even finished the run with a fast 1 minute as Laura always asks us to if we feel ok.

So went to check my Strava for how far I did go and pace, and I hadn’t started it! So annoying!!!

Nevermind the goal today was to run and I’ve done that. Now back to the turkey leftovers...
