This is my first post but have been reading everyone else’s which are all super inspiring so thank you! Anyway, just completed W5R3, feeling very pleased, although legs were a bit heavy to start out with. I love reading about everyone’s experiences, what a great program! 😊

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs, take it slowly. 😊 🏃🏾

Thanks AIMorr - yes, I’ve heard the next run can catch folk out so I’ll definitely take it at a steady pace. 😊

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.Heavy legs can be symptomatic of poor hydration.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

Thank you for the advice - I’ll certainly read the guide! I don’t think a recent heavy leg day in the gym helped either 😊

That's the one everyone fears. But so many complete it. But not those still eating advent calendar chocolates on the couch.

You will be smiling all day - and you CAN have that advent calendar chocolate guilt free.

Just keep it slow for Week 6 and you will smash it.
