I really can't believe I finished this great program this morning, what an amazing feeling πππ.
Wondered if I was going to manage as had only had a few hours sleep which has become a very frustrating regular occurrence. Had little time as had to meet my Sunday morning walking group.
Anyway, off I went back to the route I started the early runs on, dedicated this to my Mum and think this was one of my beast runs! No quicker and did not make 5K but didn't seem to struggle so much.
Lovely roast dinner with my dad this afternoon to celebrate π. Now the hardest part begins, sticking to it !
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me, it's meant so very much π

Well done and don't worry. I had never run for exercise in all of my 55 years, and still don't enjoy it, but I don't dread the morning runs as I used to and am definitely feeling the benefits. Haven't yet run 5k and probably never will but that's fine. I can run for 30 minutes non- stop where I struggled with 60 seconds on week 1.
Congratulations, you've done very well. I think a lot of people do less than 5k in the 30 minutes. I'm still well off that but I can now do 45 mins non-stop. Mind you, I still use Laura as a comfort blanket for the first half hour!
Congratulations!!! Enjoy the feeling!!!! It is amazing, isnβt it??? I know how you feel. When I run I take the time to talk to my mum and it is priceless. π
Well done!! What an achievement ππ π Iβm also at consolidation stage and am nowhere near 5k yet but to run for 30 mins is great in itself π We can do it! And extending the distance will come in time xxπββοΈππ
Congatulations on a brilliant achievement, that's nice, you were thinking of your mum βΊ enjoy that feeling, of having done it, just think back to those early weeks in the programme, and where you are now, good luck with the consolidation runs!πππππ₯³π₯³
Congratulations on your achievement! I couldn't quite believe when I completed my c25k last weekend - it feels just great to have actually done it, doesn't it?! I've done a couple of consolidation runs this week but the first one felt very odd - no one talking me through it. But second one felt better as I set out to try and run the 5k which I haven't managed yet. I'm up to 4.8k now!
Congratulations! Amazing achievement and reading your post and the replies has really inspired me to keep going!! I'm on W6R1 and was nicely surprised to see how far I got today. This is such an amazing programme and everyone is so supportive - I'm beginning to think it is do-able!
Brilliant news - well done. Thereβs no need to jettison the app once youβve got to week 9, of course. Lots of us have been consolidating with Michael J or whoever their favourite coach is.
Well done swim63 . Great achievement. I knew you could do it. And doesnβt it feel fab-u-lous to have reached your goal? Onwards and upwards eh? Good on ya.
Huge congratulations and please please please stick to it. Believe me all the effort is worth. Now do and treat yourself to some new running shoes immediately π
Thank you Pete1w, I really want to stick to it but Iβve quit so many times in the past although never done the program before. Donβt understand why I stop because I always then regret it!
Hi, and congratulations! I finished the plan on the same day as you, went back to a run with fewer ups and downs in it but didn't do anything spectacular - I carried on running to the 4.9km mark and managed it in 32 minutes running! Keep up the good work!
