Another week crossed off! I'm getting a mild muscle ache in a calf which goes on rest day so I almost talked myself into having an extra rest day this week before R3 to allow it to recover more. But why? I've got all weekend to rest before W4R1.
I can't say I found the three minute runs easy....they got easier but still an effort. So I'm not too sure how I'll get on with the 2 five minute runs on top of the 2 three minute runs next week. Half tempted to repeat W3.
But I'll give W4R1 a go first on Monday before I decide. Which hopefully be the to push on.

Well done.Stretching immediately after every run, nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/h... while muscles are still warm and supple, pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow, as recommended in the guide to the plan.
Many people do not hold their stretches for long enough or put enough effort in. Hold post run stretches for 30 seconds and make sure the pull is strong enough to be on the verge of discomfort.
