Wasnβt sure about going out for a run πββοΈ this morning as the weather has turned cold π₯Ά & sleety. Didnβt want to slip!
Decided to give it a go after checking in my back garden πͺ΄.
Very pleased I did. Managed my first 5km for December @ 38:30 which was a little better than my previous 5km. It was hard and I did have to stop once to take off my fleece as I had got so hot π₯΅!! (I just canβt seem to run very well when I am hot ?) and again near the end as I needed to take on some water π¦. I guess that is ok π.
My usual route had large puddles & was muddy so I had to just make up the route as I went which included a few more inclines which I really donβt like. I much prefer the flat so was pleased with my time and that I kept going and made it to the end.
Happy π running πββοΈ to you all. βοΈβοΈπββοΈ

Well done Angie09 that's a cracking tough weather consolidation run πͺ kudos well deserved π have you thought about future running and bigger and better things ( inc hills π?) Perhaps take a look at the bridge to 10k site you may enjoy the new challenge.......
Ah good point Angie only you know when that time is, the magic plan is a great one to follow, it's not set in stone and like C25k you can go at your own pace π
Wow, well done Angie!! Another 5k in the bag and a PB too, congrats! Hope you enjoy a rest in the warm this evening knowing you got out there and did a run earlier. Have a great weekend!
Well done, sounds a good run, 5k, and a good pace too, know what you mean, about getting too hot, i see other runners out, jackets, hats, gloves, long trousers, and there's me in my shorts, long sleeve top, sometimes have short sleeve, underneath, have worn gloves once, and got too hot! π€£ and doesnt it feel good, after a run, when it's been cold/raining, an even bigger achievement!!! π
