While it may have certainly taken more than 9 weeks, I can finally say that I have completed the couch25k programme!! There were many false starts and repeat weeks after injuries but I’m so glad I stuck with it and can now run for a solid 30 minutes consistently!! Definitely worth the effort, and the journey only really starts here, now I’m focusing on run further to actually run 5k rather than round up from 4.5 😅
I’d just like to say to anyone out there who like me, stopped and started and repeated weeks and may not actually be at 5k yet even after running consistently for a few months, it doesn’t matter!! Don’t give up, it doesn’t matter how you do it as long as you just get it done! Just go out there and give it your best, even if it means you don’t complete the scheduled run at least you’re up and moving!
Sorry for the long ramble post, had to get all the cheesy encouragement out of my system 😅 big thanks to everyone who posts their journeys and responds to questions, it’s a real inspiration and good to know we’re not alone!

Nobody is alone here on C25K, congratulations on graduating with run 3 of week 9, you did the correct thing by repeating some of your runs, perseverance eventually won the day, now go and celebrate your wonderful achievement.
Well done Kitt_kat you've done brilliantly completing C25k, take time to get those all important consolidation runs under your belt 👍. Have fun change your routes, and explore your new running ability. Don't worry about times and paces there's plenty of time for that. The main thing is keep running💪 you've worked hard.
Pop across and see all the great advice etc on the consolidation page where you'll find Mummycav with loads of hints and tips on everything you need to know 👍
Congratulations! Sounds like you’ve done absolutely brilliantly, and navigating the set backs only strengthens you longer term. Cheesy comment? Maybe, but means something nonetheless! 😁Time taken to complete programme, distance covered on w9r3 and pace are irrelevant: spot on!
Well done, as you rightly said it doesn't matter how long it takes as long as you get there! I have 2 more runs to go but definitely won't make 5K just yet. So pleased for you, enjoy 😊
Really well done Kitt_kat What grit and determination you have shown to complete C25K. Nothing but total admiration for you. Wow, if you can do this, you can do anything. What a Champ you are. Terrific.
