CR1 completed πŸŽ‰ and I feel great!

Really enjoyed graduating last Sat, but had this slight anxious feeling as I’d found W9R3 slightly tough.

Didn’t want to leave it too long, but had to fit in a run around full-time work commitments. I was wondering- should I do a short run, just to keep at it. Then woke up early this morning, and instead of hitting the snooze button, my body told me to get out there and run cos it was missing the running after 4 days. I followed the call, got out of bed, put on my running gear and got out there, thinking I’d just push myself a bit, but won’t get hung up on how long, distance, pace.

Put on the C25K app and redid W9R3 to guide me. When Jo said I’d hit halfway point, I was still feeling good, with enough puff to keep going, & had to mark the feeling with this halfway point pic, taken while on the go.

From then on, KT Tunstall kept me going with Jo interspersed, & then Jo said I’d got 60 seconds left, and then I was soon done!

And I felt great for it, and when I checked Strava, my pace was better too!

I am so thankful for this app and community, looking forward to more runs now.

Thank you for all your support πŸ™πŸΌπŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸŒˆ

Fantastic, well done you...you were itching to get out....looks really dark..crikey what time did you set off,? It can be a bit daunting if you,'ve had a previous tough run...you went for it though, and had a great runπŸ‘πŸ‘. That's a fantastic motivation. Enjoy the rest of your running journey. Yes....agree absolutely great forum. πŸ¦ŒπŸ’πŸŒπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ™‹

Thanks, Buddhagal. Yes it was early, 6:15 and dark when I got out, had my chest lamp on. This pic was probably 20 min after 5 min warmup & 15 min running. Best wishes to you too. πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸŒˆ

Well done! You’ve started your post graduation journey! You went out there just to run and that’s the best way to start your consolidation runs. Enjoy the freedom!πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ
