It was haaaaard. I didn’t enjoy it. My knees were both hurting, the old torn meniscus feels like it’s coming back. Aaagh. Going to take another rest day. Who knew 3 minutes could feel so long?

Yes, absolutely the right thing to do, knees take ages to repair. This is interesting epaper.vancouversun.com/@Na... .... 🇨🇦if that doesn't work I can copy/paste the article and dm to you🙂. I hope you find something useful. 🙂

Well done, you did it.Everything going on in our lives can impact on our performance as a runner. Restedness, hydration and nutrition are at the top of my list of variables that need to be optimised to enable enjoyable running.

If any run is tough, just slow down.

Can you speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run?.........if not, you are going too fast.

Slowing down to the recommended easy conversational pace makes it more achievable and for most, more enjoyable.
