Really didn't feel up to this today- on a real☹️before I started!- gave my arse a good kicking and I've now graduated. Only did 2.86 miles at 12.11 pace (that's pretty slow, yeah?) but the BIG PLUS was that I pushed on and ran for 35 minutes. I'm pretty impressed with the increase in my stamina and endurance, wish I could say the same for my pace! , but I'm pretty well pleased with getting this far. Amazing program - on to graduation runs and the 5k now.

Congratulations Teresafaith 👏🏻👏🏻🏅🥳🥳 you graduated in style too, with a final run of 35 minutes 💪🏻 that was some arse kicking you gave yourself 😂

I use the Nike Run Club app for consolidation runs, it’s ideal for those👍

Great, I'll get a look at that, thank you.

Congratulations! 🏃‍♀🍾🏆🏁🏅

And a pace of 7'34"/km is perfectly respectable.

Hell, how long is it gonna take me to get to THAT!!?? I don't understand this 'pace' thing, but I guess 12.11 is snails pace!

12'11"/mile is what you're doing. That's equivalent of 7'34"/km. I converted it.

2.86 mile is 4.6 km, too.

Pace is how long it takes you to cover a certain distance. It's the inverse of speed. The lower the pace time, the faster you are.

PS. Switch to metric. You know it makes sense. 😉

Well done, bet your chuffed about that, and that's a pretty good pace too, wouldn't worry about being too slow, enjoy the moment, and good luck with consolidation! 👏👏👏

Haha, I'm totally enlightened now - metric it is!! Thank you

That’s brilliant Teresafaith, especially getting it done when you weren’t feeling like it, and a great distance for your graduation run, 🤩🥳👏👏👏💐🥂🎉 and not so slow, lots of us here take quite a while longer to reach 5k, enjoy your success, and keeeeeeeep running 🤗

Congratulations on graduation! 👏👏👏👏👏

Looks like a great position to be in, and you’ve also proved tenacity to continue through to success when the smilies are grumpy!!

Best wishes for the next phase.

Hey, perhaps you need to add a foam roller to your self-torture plan? Gets right into the butt’s piriformus. (I had to look it up too!) 😂🤣

[Quick alert: I’m on a bit of a foam roller jag this evening 😬😲😜🤪😵🙀😱]

😉

Have great fun with that, then!!🤑

Well done on graduating. You should be very proud and you should certainly be chuffed with your pace - it is, in my humble opinion, much more than respectable. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😊

Thank you- I feel better now!- next challenge during graduation runs is to try and speed up even if it's just a teeny weeny bit. 😤

Congratulations Graduate🏆🏆🏆and well done with the arse kicking. Your pace is impressive, believe me!!!!!👏👏👏👏....fab job. And you managed another 5 mins. Seriously...that's good going. Celebrate your success, you deserve to🥃🍾🍷🥂. 🦌🐢🐌🏃‍♀️🙋

Thank you all SO MUCH for appreciating my 'kick arse' run!- I'm more pleased about the extra 5 mins than I am about completing the C25K, strangely enough!- gotta keep going with another app now!

Woohoo! Very well done Tf. 😄Sorry but you don’t qualify as a snail- you are too fast!😂😄

(Don’t knock your pace, it’s very respectable. I am slower than you & would be very happy to scoot along at your speed.)

I made myself a new playlist of favourite music to celebrate graduation & explored some new routes- it made consolidation feel a fresh new phase. 😄

Yes that's a good plan- going to find a different route and get different music up and running🤾‍♀️
