Having got to 53 and never run in my life, I can't believe I have finished week 1, I feel so proud of myself. I just hope I can manage week 2!

You are doing so well.. Excellent. Its my quads that seem to hurt the most but am hoping they will get over the shock of me running soon 😁

Congratulations to you Herby67 on completing week 1 of C25K, some say that is the hardest run and week, take all the runs slowly, you can repeat any run or week if you wish to, drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, no running on consecutive days as that could cause an injury, keep rigidly to the program, onwards and upwards to week 2, a little tip for you, don't look ahead at future weeks, wait until you get instructions from your coach.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Remember this:

- every run you do prepares you for the next one.

In other words, Week 1 has prepared you for Week 2. And... Week 1 combined with Week 2, prepare you for Week 3.

That's how it works :-)

Well done on starting the program. That's the most difficult bit done! And congratulations on finishing week 1 👏👏👏

I'm 56 and have never ever run before starting this program in April, but it is the most amazing thing. Trust in the plan, each run prepares you for the next. You can, and will do it!

Congratulations. Be super proud. You will manage it! Each week, I couldn’t believe it. My partner couldn’t either. Today we graduated - and we’re both still disbelieving. Best wishes for the coming weeks.
