Start of week 5 and run 1 completed. I would say I enjoyed it, but it went well. I must admit run 3 - the 20minuter is already in my mind....that will be a test for this fat-lad. Still, I did it once before so No reason I can’t do it again.....Onward and upward to 5km.

Yep, if you did it once, you know you can do it again, and you know it's really not as scary as it seems! Plus there is the great high you get from getting through it!

I never ever thought I’d be running these sorts of distances but I completed week 5 run 3 tonight and I can’t tell you how amazed/overjoyed I feel!! I attempted it 2 days ago and had to stop halfway due to calf pain but I was determined to try again. I went a little slower today and achieved it! Trust me, if I can do it, ANYONE can!!Just take it at your own pace, keep positive and if you have a bad run, shake it off and try again. You can do it!!

Yeah, I was really anxious about Run 3 of Week 5 right up until I headed out the door to do it earlier.
Though surprised myself and got it done, wasn't easy but at the same time it wasn't anywhere near as hard as I was expecting it to be. Think I shouldn't have worried so much as the first run of the week I felt as though I could've kept going, so the programme has been helping.
Don’t worry - we all worried about W5R3 and we all managed it. Even this old bird!!🤣 You’ve got this!! Everything after this feels more achievable I found. Good luck
