Week 9 Run 1

First five minutes fine.

Next 10 minutes not so good.

After that I started to feel like I was in a groove - almost autopilot.

I felt as if the last two minutes I was going faster than the rest of the run.

I only did 3.23km. That was 40m less than Sunday's 28 minute session. But on reflection, I felt so much more comfortable at the end that I know I've got more in the tank. Better that than blowing out. I think I am still on track to complete 3.5km on R3 on Sunday which will be almost magical.

I found Week 1 hard and repeated that one and Week 4 ( I looked back and saw that on of my Week 1 runs it had reached 27 degrees that day, no wonder it was tough!)

Mrs R says she will be waiting for me at the finish line on Sunday, so failure is not an option! I may even post a photo of my graduation.

Enjoy it everyone.

What a fantastic programme!

You’ve reached week 9 - that’s a brilliant achievement.

The fact you can run / jog / bimble for 30 mins non-stop is fantastic.

Don’t worry about the speed or distance, that will improve. Endurance is the key.

Fantastic achievement Rennur, really pleased for you. I love that you were in the groove...autopilot. I think you've found your pace😁😁😁. I stopped checking my pace/distance a few weeks ago and my runs are so much more comfortable now I'm just cruising/on autopilot.......this works for me. 30 mins non stop running is bloody brilliant 👏👏👏👏👍. 2 more runs and you've reached another milestone. Yay....we'd love a photo finish😁😁. Enjoy. 🏃‍♀️🙋
