Hi πŸ‘‹

So, I beleive this is perhaps my 5th or 6th time I am attempting Couch to 5K. The closest I have ever come to completing it is perhaps week 7.

For whatever reason, something always inevitably comes in my way. I know I can do it as I've reached week 7, but this time whilst I'm perhaps the most determined I am also a little scared, I've always ever ran on the treadmill but because of lockdown I'm having to do this outdoors.

Please wish me luck, I've been eating healthy for the last 6 weeks and have been regularly walking. I feel I can kill two birds with one stone, by finally completing the programme and hopefully the additional running will help with me losing my second stone of weight.

To stay accountable, I will attempt to write a post at the end of ever week to share my experience.

Fingers crossed I complete it this time round πŸ˜ŽπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

You will be great. Running outdoors is better once you are used to it if you ask me. More things to look at and think about instead of your running.

You got this.

Well done for getting back on the horse. W7 is definitely one of those where you really need the mental strength to push on past the thoughts of giving up.

Don't forget to check out the guide again to make sure you have everything you need to get through successfully.

Good luck - you can do it. Outdoors is much better. Makes the minutes pass much quicker.

Feeling the love ans support, thank you so much πŸ’“

Maybe running outdoors is what will make the difference! I've only run on a treadmill a couple of times and found it mind numbingly boring. Being out and about is such fun and connects you to your environment and the changing seasons. Vitamin D, the sun (or hail) on your back and the benefits of fresh air! Take it nice and slow and you will be fine :)

Thank you Helen, it has been quite the experience being outdoors and I've tried two or three different locations which has been interesting. I am feeling it as the weather gets colder. But I can now say I'm an outdoor runner πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ 😎
