A running hoody I have when it gets really cold.

or a short sleeve compression top and long sleeve top over that when temp dips below 10deg make sure you can pull sleeves over hands as extremities wil feel the cold starting out, (or gloves) as do ears so a beany hat pulled down over them..

I'm told it rained over there recently.

What sort of temperatures are we talking about?

Of course a Brit going over to your end of the Med would probably dress very differently to someone who lives there year-round.

Perceptions of cold vary.

My own experience is that 5°C is the point where a long sleeved top and shorts is fine. Cooler needs more layers.

Remember that you'll feel much warmer once you start running.

its 20 but when youve been running in 30 all summer its a big drop, the wind chill is what gave me a chill last week, i realise now i need a windproof vest gilet ..so im looking for one of those...any recommendations greatfully received..

When running at 20°C I'd be running in a thin t-shirt, shorts and short socks, and be most appreciative of a breeze! Many of us Brits were putting off runs this summer when it got that warm. 😉

It's all a matter of what you're acclimatised to. 🌡

As to clothing, a thin extra layer to stop the wind ought to be enough, if you're comfortable enough out of the wind.

I don’t even wear a long sleeved top unless it’s under 4 degrees. I’m still in shorts.
