As I've been running in the cold been throwing on a Berghaus jacket I had for summer walking for years ago.

but it's not really suitable for running to warm plus jet black so not visible on the road.

As Christmas is coming plan to ask for a jacket wondered what others use ?

I’ve got a super bargain one from Karrimor via Sports Direct. £6 in the sale. It’s all over bright yellow and it really does glow! I also wear a head torch at night and my leggings have reflective bits too.

I’m sure there are posher ones that are better but for the price and what I want it for, it does the job!

I've got 2 old Karrimor jackets with sleeves that zip off to make it a gilet. Love them. Several years old now. Had one zip replaced and the other soon.

My favourite for wind and rain is my ronhill jacket, but I tried on some great karrimor jackets from sports direct. Then I've got a knit fabric zip up jacket from M&S good move which is several years old and still going strong. It has thumb loops so keeps your hands a little warmer. Decathlon also good value.

My fave, and oldest run jacket came from Aldi £6.99. I wear it most often from the selection I’ve accumulated. I bought the matching LED run cap, which is still my fave. There’s an ancient picture on here somewhere of me modelling them ☺️

The Karrimor ones are good and come with two zipped pockets. I’ve got several The hooded one is high viz black n orange trim.

Good hunting 😀

I wear a soft shell gillet from decathlon as I like the zipped pockets and a thermal long sleeve top and running gloves, cold when I first do the warm up walk at 3c degree but soon warm up after first 5 mins of running 😄
