Jacket

Hi

I've just finished week 2 and am loving running so far. However as it's cold and rainy at times I have been wearing my trusty Peter Sorm anorak. I want something better, lightweight, waterproof , colourful - I don't know really what I want and what sort of jacket will be best, just know that my anorak feels quite big and bulky.

What sort of coat should I be looking for - not too expensive if possible.

Well done you. Look in the sales..lots of choice and prices and brands..I have Ron Hill lightweight breathable shower proof.. all sale bought...and one turquoise, one orange, one purple!

I've got a Ron Hill jacket too, it's great, really well made and the pocket is big enough for phone and keys etc, a real bonus!

I love my OMM halo. It’s so lightweight. It can be scrunched up to the size of a tennis ball. The halo plus has pockets too. Not the cheapest though but definitely worth the investment IMO 👍🏽

I have a really cheap one from decathlon in bright blue! I have found you don’t need one that often especially when the weather heats up 🙏🏼 so not worth paying a fortune!

I bought a great jacket in mountain warehouse. Windproof, waterproof and breathable and not very expensive. It's fluorescent pink. I love it
