I graduated from C25K about a year ago, and I was consistently doing 2-3 runs every week and then it just... fell by the wayside. I have had two back injuries this year and fitness just wasn't a priority. Part of me was also scared of getting hurt again.

Having said that, I have just done two weeks of three runs per week, after a long hiatus. And I am back. Running s l o w l y and getting back into it, finding my way, letting my body remember the rhythm of running.

And, of course, remembering just how sore my muscles can be afterwards.

It's a good feeling. I really want to keep it up and I can really see the improvement in my mood the last few weeks.

Does anyone have any good tips on trying to run consistently after completing the program?

You seem to be running well now after that break due to your back injuries, you can try the +C25K podcasts with Laura which are pace, speed and stamina then if you wish to run a 10K try Ju Ju's Magic 10 plan.
