YAY!!! It's just a win win situation!!! Brilliant...well done changing-woman
Well done on becoming a new lesser person! The next step is obsessing with Utube Running channel videos π€ ( guilty)
haha no noooooooooo not that!
Haha says she ( as she types Utube) they're very Morish π
i am about to start week 2 and it's not funny at all FACT !!!
We all started there π
i could not be dreading it more after my experiences in week 1 !
Oh you definitely have nothing to dread
Noooooo!! You are not allowed to dread it - what a waste of energy!! π Just go out and pootle along gently JSR styleπππ & you will amaze yourself. π
i just remember what week 1 was like, so its a natural reaction when i think of undertaking even more exhaustion... i know i sound like a wimp , i am not, far from it, i am just unfit...
You're probably not that unfit! Fact you're just not used to using your running muscles, you're educating your legs to work in a whole new way π
actually, you know what, that makes sense....cos i cant be that unfit with how i carry on and the way i walk every day etc...
That's one well used armchair π€, anyhow after week 2 you've the delights of week 3 πͺ
I think all that walking you were doing will help immensely. I was regularly brisk walking for 2 miles, at least 4x a week before C25k. Iβm a Japanese slow jogger too (and 65!)...
I found at the beginning that I was focusing on βomg when will this bit endβ and βwhen can I start walkingβ...but on Week 5 my brain did a complete turn around. It helped that I decided that my brisk walking was as fast (if not faster!) than my slow jogging...and I was therefore doing the times/distance anyway.
Itβs a training program, so trust the programme to get you there...you just have to work on the headology π§ and beat off the gremlins πΉπΊπΉ that tell your brain that you canβt do it...
...because YOU CAN! πFACTπ
Youβll be fine then π
Fingers and toes crossed....
π€π€π€
I can smash it in my head but my legs more or less give way under me....
