completed run 3 of week 8. I've been having 2 day rests in between runs since week 6 but ran after only 1 day rest and it was a struggle... plus a phone call paused the app for 3 minutes and I chose not to compensate so ran for 31 minutes instead of 28. I suppose i'll just have to run twice a week until i'm more used to it. I'm really amazed and happy to have got this far (after restarting twice) . I really want to consolidate and start doing park runs soon. During these times a run is like a reset to anxiety levels I'm very grateful for the app and this group

Well done, you're doing really well to have got so far.
Whenever you run after only one rest day it's a good idea to set out at a slower pace. Also if you increase your time of running, as you're about to do with W9R1, you need to go slightly slower. Good luck with your final week of C25k!
Hi jimytwo2 ...sometimes runs are just hard...for no reason...lots of things can make a run feel hard though, like dehydration...lack of proper sleep...not eating the right things...I'm sure you know all about that so maybe make a conscious effort to make these small changes...having an extra rest day shouldn't really make much of a difference although it will take longer to build up your stamina so maybe an extra rest day just now and again would be better?? good luck with your next run...you are doing so well even though it might not feel like it sometimes...but just remember how far you've come...and just keep going and enjoying yourself 😊😊😊
thankyou mummy . I did wonder if it was something to do with diet or hydration. I did have a very late night. I will continue to try to make small changes.
