My first incomplete run

Gremlins won today unfortunately and this is first run I've not completed, which is ridiculous because I managed it only two days ago 😞

I slowed down after the halfway bell then walked after twenty minutes. Like an idiot. I'm not calling it a failure because something is better than nothing, but very disappointed with myself. I'll repeat this on Saturday and hopefully smash it.

These things happen. Most people here have had a run where either the technology has failed or they've misinterpreted the instructions. You still had a run, and that's what matters more.

Definitely not a failure, you've done it before, and your doing it again, i'm sure you'll be fine, on saturday, keep going!!! 😀

Totally get that. I’ve repeated runs in earlier weeks and feel deflated when I’ve not completed.

I did the same before the dreaded w5 Run 3- started and got to 10 mins and just thought - nope, not feeling it and walked in but then did it easily the next day. I’m sure your next run will be back to normal and you’ll smash it!

You'll be fine. It happens to us all sometimes. Just wasn't happening today that's all! I think at this stage in the programme it's easy to unconsciously speed up, so just keep it slow and it will be fine.

Thanks everyone. I'll do it Saturday, can't let myself down (or everyone else on here) 🏃🏃

It is absolutely not a failure. The only runs that are failures are the ones you don’t start! Please don’t be hard on yourself. I think you’re doing amazingly!
