Was dreading having to jog for 5 mins instead of last weeks' 3, but I did it ! My legs didn't let me down, or should I say my arthritic knees 😘 to be honest, my knees are starting to feel stronger. I do yoga on the days I'm not doing C25K, which also helps ..... I can do this 💪

Oh wow I’m a menopausal , overweight 53 year old newbie so the thought of jogging for 5 mins scares me right now 🙈.
On the other hand I’m excited to see where I will be in another 3-4 weeks time ! 😊
You can do this ..... I've just turned 55, overweight & menopausal ..... when I started 3 weeks ago I struggled big time, but each session does get gradually easier ..... I listen to Jo Whiley who gives you plenty of encouragement ..... just take it slowly & you will look back in a few weeks time & see how far you've come 💪

Did the same this morning. Dreaded the thought of 5 minute run. Did it and I have to say very pleased with myself. Had my knee strapped but kept a slow and steady pace.
Thank you .... I think it's the thought of jogging for longer periods that makes us have a panic. I try now to take each session one jog at a time ...... plenty of banging rock music blaring out always does it for me
Well done! As a fellow runner with arthritic knees, I can honestly say that now, a year on from starting cto5k and now running longer distances, my knees are stronger than ever! So keep at it!
