I failed miserably yesterday after my 3 month break (I was on W9R1) and tried going back to W6R2 2x 10 min run! I finally did it! (2 attempts) Well chuffed with myself πŸ’ͺ not sure which run to do next or stay with W6! πŸ€” or carry on with W9! anyone any ideas?

Well done for doing wk6 R2 πŸ‘πŸ‘

That was the run I disliked the most , so much so I didn’t even post about it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I’m no expert but after 3 months off why don’t you give R3 a go just to see how it goes ?

I found the 10 mins run ( then stop just as I get over the toxic 8/10 mins at the beginning and everything settles πŸ™„) then get yourself going again for second 10 mins really hard .

Give it a go even if you find 20 mins enough as opposed to full 25 , it’ll give you a sense of where you are on a solid run .

Going to full 30 mins might put you right off .

I’m on consolidation run 6 , still finding 30 mins not β€˜easy Peary β€˜ but getting better πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Keep at it whatever you decide, knowing you got to wk9 should bolster your self belief πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ

Thank you so much 😊 I’ll try R3 then and see what happens, I got to admit the first 10 mins I thought I was having heart attack and couldn’t get my breath! 🀣 but as I carried on, my breathing was more at ease and was in control of it! My legs are like lead weight and hurting as we speak! 😩

I will take your advice and see what happens, if I find R3 easier then I think I’ll just skip back to W9! πŸ‘

Also slow it right down . Slow and steady wins the run ( something I continually need to do πŸ˜‚πŸ‘Œ)
