Not only did i go out in the pitch black after a full day of work (to avoid the storm which arrives at 3am), I took a completely different route (to keep to the best lit/built up streets). I think the main thing was mental attitude, I didn't overthink it, just thought, 'start as slow as possible, and just keep plodding along for as long as you can, doesn't matter if you make the whole time...'
Suddenly Jo was saying I was 15mins in and I actually had to run round the whole block again to make the distance long enough. And I felt I still had some more in the tank!
Flabbergasted. I can actually run. feeling quite emotional about it!

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊
Well done Vogueskater 👏🏻👏🏻 mental attitude is definitely the key and getting your breathing into a good steady rhythm. I bought a chest torch recently as I run early in the morning and it’s dark now, might be a good investment for you too if you haven’t got one mines a Karrimor, easy to clip on and rechargeable 👍
Fantastic, well done. Great feeling..I ran this on Monday...and felt exactly the same 😁😁. Agree, it's all about mental attitude.....and yes slowly, slowly. 👍👍👍👍🙋
