Week 7 Run 3
2nd 10K 💪
Last week I achieved my first 10K (two weeks ahead of schedule) and with a fairly good time of 59:27 so today I had to prove to myself that it wasn’t a fluke!
Super happy 😃 to report that it wasn’t down to luck at all! I’ve just completed my 2nd 10K and shaved off a not too shabby 41 seconds! 💪 Smashing a new PB!
My fuel? Nothing but an empty stomach and lots of pent up energy! Mixed with quite a bit of anger and despair with the state of life at the moment!
I started C25K in May and back then I wouldn’t even run for a bus 🚌 For anyone starting out - keep going!
You’ll be amazed by what you can achieve! Ignore your inner gremlins and the external negative nellies who might be quick to label you a ‘rookie’ because you dare to be more than average. If you want and can run quicker - do it! If you’re happy to run at a pace comfortable for you - do it! Do YOU!
