Morning all!
I completed Run 2 of Week 7 yesterday morning, and I have to say that I really struggled with the mental demons (or gremlins as I have seen some people call them!) this time. It's the first time that it's happened to me as I've been in a good mindset for all my other runs, but a few things happened that threw me off - I forgot my FitBit which I was gutted about as I couldn't track my run.
But I still went ahead with it, with my mum walking behind me, until I got about 10 minutes in when I thought "god I can't do this today!" I turned round to tell my mum but she was the other side of the park - lucky too as I decided to continue the run. This happened twice more but both times I persevered - mind over matter as they say. So I did end up completing the run but it definitely wasn't as enjoyable as my others.
Just one more run for week 7 and I'm onto week 8!
