Sorry guys and girls I forgot to post after my second run of the week 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️ but don’t panic Mr Mannering I’m no longer M.I.A.

So end of the first week and I’ve completed all three runs....legs have definitely felt a little tighter on the second and even more so on the third run compared to the first, but I guess that’s part of the course!?

I Made a bit of a school boy error and haven’t stretched hardly before or after each run, instead I just relied on the warm up and cool down walks. Definitely going to get some pre stretching in there from now on.

Going back to the mental health benefits of running...had a bit of a 💩 week in regard to work, as my job role got put into “consultation”. My initial reaction to running from that point was ‘balls to it’ as I just get deflated. But I took a breath and thought.....no keep going it will distract you. So I did, and again it was a great tool to lift my mood and bring my determination/drive back to a good level!

Overall looking forward to week 2 and just my next run to be honest. Hope your all well and safe, and have enjoyed a great weekend what ever you’ve been up to.
