Back in from one of the most enjoyable runs I’ve had so far. Started off at around 6:50am after waking up at 6am and still being shocked that it was not daybreak yet... winter is creeping up on us...😩😩
Still holding on to Michael, I repeated wk9r2.. started off on roads and then down to the playing fields where thankfully there were no puddles of mud to avoid, just glorious green frosty looking grass fallen brown leaves. On we went, Michael,my tunes and I. All was well, no fatigue or pain, when he said 5 minutes to go, I started heading back towards home. When he said 60 seconds, I was still in full stride feeling good, so when he told me time was up, I checked Strava it said 4.68k ☹️, decided to keep on running till I got to 5k, this was about 2:30 minutes into the warm down walk. So basically although I intended to stick with 30 minutes for a couple of sessions before increasing my time, I managed to nearly get to 33 minutes this morning without feeling much worse for wear and still fit another ~5 minutes walk to get home.
Onwards and upwards... just hoping that I won’t lose my motivation as the days become much shorter and colder.😂😂
