Not posted in ages but have been building up the runs following an ankle injury ( right one this time- left leg strong and fine now). Physio seen back in August and diagnosed tight calves putting pressure on ankles etc. Painful massage, lots of stretching and a slow build back up but doing ok. Did my first club run of 4.5k on Tuesday - first since lockdown and did a tough little lunchtime 20 mins today with lots of hills. Twice a week is all I seem to be able to manage time wise but loving being back at it and feeling fit again. Did a school assembly back in summer about perseverance and talked about C25K and seem to have inspired a few staff to give it a go- 2 now completed it too which is great. What a great thing this running lark eh?
Happy running all.
