I feel a bit deflated , I couldn’t do the 30 mins I had bursts of walking , maybe only for about 30 seconds each time but looking at my Fitbit I’ve done 3.2 miles which is about 5k, have I cheated? I feel like I’ve not done it properly and that I’ve let myself down 🥴 any tips for keeping up the momentum for this last week before I’m doing my own c25k , and shall I do r1 again? Thanks all !

I was just about to type a reply then I looked again at you tracker record . I did you really run for 50 minutes and 28 seconds - running c 5k is an achievement with breaks - but were you going from 5K rather than 30 mins? Its a big jump doing 50 minute runs on week 9 especially if you struggled with the 30 . Be careful

Or is there just an error in the tracking somewhere?

But don't worry about the 30 min runs - if you have done 28 mins three times you can definitely do 30 without stopping - don't let a bad day put you off (everyone has them!)

You can do it. Slow down a touch if you need to but you'll feel better in yourself for having achieved the target without walking. I look forward to hearing you did it on your next run.

I think yes your right the tracker must be off! Was just thinking about it before and compared it to last time I walked the same route! Also it was muddy in places so I was going really slow . Fitbit seems really off sometimes!

Also when I’d finished the 5min walk I got in car without finishing run on Fitbit 😬 so definitely not 3.2 miles lol

Woah Nelly don’t be so hard on yourself! You’ve done amazing to even get to this point. I wish had an ounce of your determination 👍

Your pace appears nice and leisurely at about 9min/km but if that includes walks you might be pushing yourself too hard.

Remember there's no requirement to do 5km. The target is to run continuously for half an hour, for three consecutive sessions. You can do that super-slowly if needs be.

The words Radcliffe Cemetery, Bury Road and the A58 sort of gave it away. 😉

I’ve been running for about 2 1/2 years now and can usually run for well over an hour continuously ( and ran for 3hrs:28mins continuously last August) but my last run on tuesday was 5k, 40 minutes, and I had to walk for at least a minute 4 times. I think the humidity isn’t helping. Don’t beat yourself up about it. You still got out there and ran and lapped all the people still sat on the couch 👏👏🏃‍♀️
