I wasn’t expecting to do this run until tomorrow but as thunderstorms were forecast I thought I’d break with my normal routine and go this morning. All was going surprisingly well until part way through the last 3 min run when I lost Jo. It threw me totally but I kept calm and decided I’d just carry on for a bit.... and a bit more.... and a bit more .....😆 I couldn’t believe that I was able to run (albeit very slowly!) for longer.....for me quite a bit longer 💪 Then realizing that I still had a walk, the last 5 min run and the cool down walk to go, I slowed to a walk so I could check my phone and restart Jo, who had paused herself 🤷♀️ Then I remembered the cricket was due to start 😮 and I needed to head back so I continued on my way as Jo told me. I was soooooo elated when I got home that I had inadvertently managed to run further than required as I had found R2 such a struggle. Don’t misunderstand me, it was only a few minutes (not far really) but for me a massive boost. Oh, and my reward was the exciting T20 😃😂
It gives me such confidence going into W5 (which I’d previously been dreading ) and I shan’t do until Wednesday, and it’s the first time I really believe I can do this, altho’ I’m worried about losing Jo again 😬 I can’t do this without her, together with the support on here 😊
Happy running everyone 🏃♀️🏃
