Possibly strange problem

I seem to be having a problem due to the fact that my second toe is actually longer than my big toe. I am doing the slow running and think about my foot placement but I have noticed that my long toe seems to take a lot of the force when I land on the ball of my foot anyone have the same problem and how did you resolve it?

Morton's toe?

Are your shoes preventing your toes from spreading naturally when you run?

I have got a pair of feet shaped shoes to try, to see how that goes.

Not quite the same toes all in the same space for mine.

A larger toe box on shoes is a good thing, as your toes want to naturally splay when running. Often the recommendation is to go up half a size in running shoes.
