I have completed C25K program but due to some medical issues I have to avoid the feet hitting of the ground and I am thinking of trying speed walking. What is your opinion? Do you have any suggestions for resources and/or training programs ?

I think speed-walking is an EXCELLENT alternative to jogging/running. I've suggested the same to Little_lizzie and it seems to be going ok at the moment.
Hi! Yes, it's working really well! I'm doing the c25k, but speed walking on the running bit and brisk walking on the walking bit... I'm going to finish the whole 9 weeks, then have another go at running... I've also started gym, on the bike and treadmill with an incline to make me work harder!
My hope is that by the 9 weeks my legs should be conditioned and ready to take it in again!
