Consolidation Run 14
I did try to post this update this morning but for some reason the app has been playing up π€·ββοΈ anyone else?!
I woke up debating on another rest day or to go for a run. Technically, I could have done with another rest day after doing 6.5K on Friday and I did want to time my runs next week to start the Magic 10K plan on the 4th.
But I felt like I needed to de-clutter my mind so I got the running gear on and got out to enjoy the weather βοΈ
I started off with the C25K+ Stamina podcast on but soon realised my body didnβt have enough fuel in the tank for this today. So I changed my goal to a short 2.5K - no fuss, no pressure. Everything is good - posture, breathing and pace - but my legs are tired and feeling heavy. A short run to flush the lactic acid will be more than enough for today.
Strava chimes 2.5K and I a happily stop. I dedicate 20 minutes to stretching in the sun and notice a yoga π§ββοΈ group in the distance. I think to myself that maybe I should have joined them instead! π€
Iβve had a βmeβ day today in the hope my mood shifts. Life is a bit meh π from all directions at the moment.
On a side note: Iβm still pre-fundraising for the registration fee for the British Red Cross Miles for Refugees challenge. Iβve enough for the basic registration (no T-Shirt) but it would be great π to be able to go for the next registration up with a T-Shirt! Iβll hold out until tomorrow evening π ko-fi.com/phoenixrise
