Graduation day surprise

I’m not sure how many people on this forum will know of a runner called Kevin Webber. He was diagnosed with prostrate cancer years ago and took up running. By ‘took up running’ I mean ultra runs like the Marathon Des Sables (a 6 day 251k ultra marathon).

Well, I work with Kevin bad have known him for donkeys years. He knew that I was approaching graduation and he sent me a physical C25K medal. How kind is that?!

It has tipped me over the edge and I am welling up yet again as I type this. What a guy and what a thoughtful thing to do.

I am just so grateful to him, to everyone on this forum - I feel blessed, I really do.

What a lovely story to go with your C25K journey and graduation. :)

I wonder whether a programme called Kevin's Couch to 50K a Day would catch on? ;)
