Definitely try again. I'm sure you can do it - it's a great plan. I live on a steep hill, but I made sure that my warmup walk got me off the hill and my runs were on a fairly flat route, so I could take the hill home in my cool down walk at the end.

Surely you can find a way to avoid your jinx hill. I honestly think outdoors is better than a treadmill if you can. Otherwise - you wouldn't be the first to use a treadmill!

Definitely give it another go! Avoid the hill if you can until until you've got a bit more running under your belt. I suspect you were taking the hill too fast. You need to slow down and take smaller steps, going up land mid foot, not on your heel. Hills can be tricky! Actually, slowing down generally is a good thing, starting c25k. When I started it, I walked to a playing field and ran around that. Or walked or drove down the hill to the flatter road at the bottom. I've never run on a treadmill, but plenty have, especially in winter. Good luck!

I got to week 9 then did my hamstrings in. 8.5 weeks later, today, I have started back at the beginning doing one run of each week till I start to feel I need to get back on the course. Take it steady away and rest when it is painful will be my motto
