W3R3!

What a difference 2 days can make! The 3 minute intervals are still a challenge, but felt so much easier today than in the last two runs. Even got rewarded with a little cooling rain right as I finished the last interval 💙

Onwards to... my 6th week of running, and a second go-round of week 3 (bad knee, doing every week twice at the advice of a trainer). Excited to see how the 3 minutes will feel at the end of next week.

Hi RainRunner...

What you have posted is encouraging to me...it’s interesting to find out how people are getting on further down the line. I also wonder if I may need to repeat some weeks twice

due to my knees. Sounds like good advice...

I think I will be happy to be able to run regularly no matter how long the programme takes!

I think it's something to consider if you have bad knees! The reason I was advised to do it was so that I can monitor the impact the running is having on my knees each time the intensity goes up, and so my body will have time to adjust more slowly. Honestly I'm loving the regular running, and the fun thing about doing the weeks twice is you feel such a difference between the first and second go-round of each week in how difficult the intervals feel and how fast you can go :)
