I finished week 5 run 2 today and I feel like there is a total change in my attitude to running. I've noticed that it's become addictive(as IannodaTruffle warned). I think about running all the time and for the first time during this programme, I went out for a run first thing in the morning. All of this made me wonder, when did you identify yourself as a runner? I feel like one now, but then again it seems a bit presumptuous saying that when I haven't finished c25k.
When do you call yourself a runner?: I finished... - Couch to 5K
When do you call yourself a runner?

Stick with the programme, your chosen trainer will let you know soon enough.

Not long now 😉

So happy to know that you are enjoying your running, once you have completed run 3 of week 6 you will be officially a runner

I got hooked during week 3.
That's also when I started getting up early in the morning to fit in my run before work.
And it's about that point when people started remarking how well I looked.

I've been running three months and I still feel a fraud calling myself a runner! 😉
I'll probably need to crack 10k before it sinks in 😂

According to your coach, after the next run. According to me, when you’re getting out there regularly, and start to enjoy it, you’re a runner... there’s no real cure either 🤣
It’s a funny question for me... The love grew slowly, and it was after the plan that I really started to enjoy myself, but for self motivation I was telling myself that I was a runner in week 3.

I felt I was a runner after I'd done the 20 minutes at the end of week 5. I can't remember if Laura said I was or not. Perhaps she said it at the end of week 6.
Anyway, I am a runner! Just been out and done my 16th consolidation run after graduating, I am finding it a bit easier, am getting a little bit faster, and I do really enjoy it
