Morning all.

Another jaunt round my neighbouring windfarm. Was desperate to get out before the storm. Windmills all stopped due to weather. Managed to even get a sunny spell and fairly dry although the ground conditions were atrociously wet and muddy. Trainers well stuffed and drying already.

Distance 5.04km

Time 39.34

Embarking on slowly increasing my pace but this run is quite hilly so will probably try a flatter route next week to compare.

Be safe running in this wild weather.

That's a good run👍 - especially in the wind. 💨

It's pretty mad and gusty here - the trees are really being blown about.

I didn't run this morning 😞😭 but am hoping the wind dies down enough then I'll go out this evening or tomorrow.

I know, I know I wimped out and now feel really guilty

Thank you, sometimes we all need to wimp 🤣. Good luck with your run and in nicer weather.

Good run for you today considering the hilly and weather conditions, once you are running on a flatter course it won't be long before you can run around 35 minutes for a 5K.

Thank you PhoenixRise, yes the surroundings can in equal measure be beautiful and horrific 😱.

Well done on getting out there 😬👏👏👏

'Windmills stopped due to the weather" oh the irony 😂😂😂

Thank you, I am really enjoying having a commitment to do this over the weekend. Almost like being back on the 9 week course (or in my case 11 weeks).

Glad you spotted the ironic comment, couldn’t make it up. Could go on for days re the ‘amazing green benefits’ of wind farms but don’t want to spoil your weekend.

Thanks Jools, but as we are all taught here, slow is always better.

I'm imagining that was a pretty windy site so well done getting that done in this blustery weather.
