I can’t believe I’m writing this. I have just finished this run. MJ said time’s up, normally I stop and give myself an internal ‘woohoo!’ (Sometimes external 😂). Today I thought can I just keep going? So, I ran for an extra minute then decided not to push it any further, (especially after injuring myself in week 5 and not being able to run for 2 weeks).
I’m absolutely over the moon. Today I actually felt like a runner. In the first few weeks of the plan i was practically crawling to the end while others were effortlessly going past. I’m not saying I’m at that level of fitness, far from it. But to run for a full 29 minutes, I still can’t believe it.
Only 5 more runs until graduating. All being well that will be on the 25th August. Not like it’s circled on my calendar or anything 😂😂
Anyone starting out and having any doubts. Don’t! You will get there. Your head will be telling you that you can’t do it but this plan is preparing your body for each weeks increase in running time. All you have to do is believe in yourself!
