I did the very same thing, only when I thought I ran for 5 minutes and it was a 3 minute run! I was so pleased with myself! I thought, that wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be!!!! Then I realised!!!!! Before I started the plan, I couldn’t even run upstairs- now I’m on week 8, running 28 minutes!!!
But keep on with the plan! You’ll be amazed when you look back on your progress! The sense of achievement is fantastic!
Thank you, that gives me hope and another incentive not to give up...!!
Week 8 feels like a long way to go, but week 3 at the beginning felt unachievable.
I’ve bit tried running up the stairs, I find walking up a struggle still...so hoping I shall get fitter and fitter and my knees will also get that way.
Good Job! I remember my absolute fear about moving up from 1.5 mins to 3 mins. I spoke to my sister who had done it previously and she said I will get there and I did. Keep up the good work!
Well done for proving to yourself you can do it! I start my W3 tomorrow, and I feel nervous but bolstered by the posts from others. I'll tell you how it goes...
