Advice please, and I'm sure this has been asked many times before.

I'm on W6R1. Sports tracker app and my OS map app both register my total distance today at 5.5k.

Should I now start to discount the warm up and cool down distance and only count the distance of the running and walking sections to know how far I'm actually doing?

I know by week 9 it's just running for 30 minutes and the warm up and cool down doesn't count towards the distance.

I hope this makes sense and there is a definitive answer out there.

We kept our warm up and cool down until nearly the end but weren’t covering the ground you are, I’m sure you could leave them off because you get a clearer understanding of pace etc without but this isn’t a race and we all run differently

I'm sorted now thanks. My next one is W7R1. I'll only measure the 25 minutes run section. Keep on running 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️

personally from the very beginning I've never recorded the warm up / down just because I've want an accurate idea of how far I'm running, and at what pace.

there's no right answer though! just do what makes sense to you :)

Thanks I've finally got it clear in my mind. W7R1 is same as today 25 minutes running. I'll measure distance over the 25 minutes. Keep on running
