1st consolidation run 🏃🏽‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I didn’t really have a plan I couldn’t bring myself to run a different route 🤷🏻‍♀️ I am familiar with the path I do and even though my pace was slower it felt good to be out there! Weird not to have Jo Whiley giving me a little reminder a long the way though. I want to attempt a different route at some point but why do I feel so bothered about a different route 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well done, I think new routes bring a mental challenge as we don’t have familiar markers to look out for....

Yes I think you’re right! I know certain points along my way & how far I’ve come or got to go before I stop

I’m the same, when I do a new route I have to consciously chill out as I have no idea what point I’m at.... however after the first time, I know what to look for, but it’s a really healthy thing to do new routes and have some mini adventures too.

Thank you that’s great advice and logic too! Will try it out on my next run 🏃🏽‍♀️🤞🏻
