Had got up to running 5k regularly before lockdown then the pandemic seemed to wreck my running brain. Didn’t run for 6 weeks but decided to do the C25k programme again with a friend. So glad I did because this morning I ran my 2nd 5k of the week. Such a beautiful morning motivated to keep going. I’m not fast, I ran my 5k in 36 mins 30 this morning but I’m determined to be consistent this time round. So if you’re struggling I’d encourage you to preserve and follow the programme, you will get there. Happy Sunday all.

Well done Mands50 , the pandemic has messed with lots of people’s routines and running so I’m really glad that you’ve gone back to it and picked up that 5k again! We have just gone back into lockdown here in Yorkshire but at least I can still get out for my runs...we have to make the most of what we have and the sunshine today has me itching to get out!
