I've been maintaining 5k slow running for the last 7 months. I'm doing my usual 2 or 3 slow running sessions a week and, in addition, I now do 2 sessions of 20 mins walks on my days off from runs. I've notice, over the last month, that I'm toning more visibly now than I have been. I've only been splitting the walk sessions in the last 6 weeks. Interesting. ( well I think so πππ€£)

There is scientific evidence, yes... and I know that the Active 10 team were looking at evidence that 2x5 minute brisk walks is as good as a 10 minute one for us... not sure where they are with that though.
