Well I tried to follow all your amazing advice to try and enjoy myself more, I did a running commentary, I tried to sing very badly to the music, I ran very slowly, (it seemed to make it worse as each kilometre went on forever).
Someone had suggested watching a video on slow jogging, so I watched that and then finally in the last 5 minutes I saw images of the smiling Japanese man on the track, and I turned everything off, music, mapmyrun and just enjoyed myself for the first time probably. So onwards and up to the 3rd run!!
